Laurence Benhamou

Laurence Benhamou, is a graduate of IEP Paris and Centre de Fromation des journalistes. She started her career with AFP in 1989, in the Economic News department. In 2000, she was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Video department, before joining AFP’s Medialab for new media products development. She became deputy Editor of the Economic News service, before being appointed senior business correspondent in AFP’s New York office during the subprime crisis. In 2009 Ms Benhamou came back in Paris whrre she co-founded Greenunivers.com, now a reference for economic news on green business. Back to AFP, she is now in charge of new medias coverage.
She published in 2005 "Le Grand Bazar Mondial" (Ed. Bourin), a panorama of globalization through the secrets of sourcing.
