Laurence Breton-Moyet has been appointed on June 2015 Executive Director in charge of Operations of French Development Agency (AFD).
Since July 2015, she is member of the Management Board of Proparco.
Graduate from the Ecole des Ponts Paris-Tech and ESCP/Europe business school, she earned her civil engineering
Expertise Development Durable, Infrastructures Climat and Analyses économiques et financières.
Laurence Breton-Moyet has gathered 20 years of experience in the field of international development. She first started at the World Bank as a long term consultant in infrastructures and then worked for the French Energy Utility, EDF, as international project manager before joining the French Development Agency in 2004. She is specialized in infrastructure projects, with a special focus on sustainable development issues and climate impacts. She has been appointed as Director of the Sustainable Development Department, spanning natural resources management, agriculture and rural development and infrastructures.
