Professor, Social Entrepreneurship Chair, and North and West Africa Development Director - Professeur titulaire de la Ch
Thierry Sibieude has been a professor at ESSEC Business School since 1996. His main research areas are Social Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility and Management of Sustainability.
In 2002, Thierry Sibieude co-founded the first chair in Social Entrepreneurship of France at ESSEC, and launched innovative projects :
- a program for equal opportunities called “A top business school : why not me ? »
- a “Social Incubator” to help entrepreneurs create and scale projects with a social or environmental purpose
- the first Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) taught in French about social enterpreneurship. 6 MOOCs are already freely available online on Coursera : "L'entrepreneuriat qui change le monde », « Changer le monde: passons à l'action », « Les partenariats qui changent le monde » as well as 3 MOOCs about « L'impact investing, la finance qui change le monde »
In 2016, Thierry Sibieude has been appointed Development Director of the newly opened North and West Africa ESSEC campus.
