Bruno Lechevin is CEO of ADEME since March 2013. He was first involved in a popular education and youth movement and held various trades’ union representative positions within the electricity and gas industries. He was Secretary General of the CFDT chemicals-energy federation from 1997-1999. In 2000, he was named as Commissioner within the Commission for Energy Regulation for eight years. In April 2008, he was designated Delegate-General to the national energy ombudsman, and in parallel, Special Advisor to the President of the Commission for Energy Regulation. He is also Vice-President and Founder Member of Electricians without Borders, an NGO working in the field of access to energy in developing countries.
