Dr. Meinrad Bürer has 15+ years of experience in international climate policy, energy, and the design and implementation of sustainability standards and result-based financing schemes. He is Director, Research & Development at EcoAct, and Senior Research Associate at the University of Geneva. Meinrad Bürer is Chair of the Technical Governance Committee of the Gold Standard Foundation. He previously worked for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, as well as in the private sector as a Senior Consultant in sustainable energy.
